FC Barcelona Ready for Historic Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in the Spanish league 30 months after they moved out for construction to commence.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.
Stadium Testing
The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch on 7 November. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body to host the next European match versus the German side next month at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
