Nearly Ninety Air Travels Connected to Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airports
A review has uncovered that approximately 90 flights linked to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have arrived at and departed from British airfields, with some allegedly transporting British women who allege they were victimized by the found guilty child sex offender.
Aviation Records Reveal Pattern of Movement
These aviation records were part of a trove of legal papers and files released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the previous twelve months. The investigation found 87 flights linked to Epstein – featuring many that were not previously known – coming into or leaving from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unidentified female passengers were listed among the travelers travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights occurred following Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a minor.
“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his operations in the country,” remarked US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that survivor has never been contacted by police in the UK, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.
In a response, the the Met indicated they had “not received any new evidence that would support reopening the probe.” They added, “Should fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, including any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will assess it.”
Ongoing Document Release and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to make public all files held by the American government in relation to Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of documents are expected to be released.
Separately, a federal judge ruled last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
