Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete has substantial social media following

The young golfer can count on numerous prominent backers as she begins her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses numerous golf courses and often matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with running the country, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments recently and has position 461 in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He represents the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, following the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, featuring world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to new audiences, especially reaching youth audiences.

Kai boasts millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
